We are the Jacobs Family. We live in Alta Loma, a suburb of Los Angeles, in California.
Clarence (that's me) is a great father (I'm humble) with some awesome kids (some are adults now, huh?). Jennifer, CJ, Kyle and Davey, Jarrett and Julie. Quite the clan. Just remember, when life throws you a curve, get up, dust yourself off, and move on. Life is TOO short to hold grudges. If you really love someone, and they want to move on, because you love them, let them move on
As a family, we are interested in auto racing (almost entirely pushed into it by dad), computers, family based community events in the area, travel, video movies, the river (Colorado, not nearly as much now), Las Vegas reality TV shows, and video games, and digital pictures.
Clarence is as active as he can be with the kids, taking them wherever they need to go for school, swimming, soccer, playgrounds and anything else to keep them active.
He has grown up in Southern California. Clarence's parents live in Paul, Idaho.
The favorite sport for this family is auto racing. NASCAR Nextel Cup is the one followed the closest by all of us (Just dad really). Almost any racing event can be found on our TV whenever an event is running. Jarrett, Anthony, Kyle, Davey, Alan are all names of children in this family from racing.
We often read the newspaper to find out what is happening around Rancho Cucamonga. We go to stay active and keep up on current events around our city.
Video movies are often rented by us at our local video stores. Hollywood Video, Star Video and Blockbuster are our main hangouts. It is much cheaper to rent a movie for $3.99 for 5 days than pay $8.50 each to see the latest theater release. We enjoy comedies, and some drama, action films or horror, but not everyone enjoys them. The reality TV shows we watch most are Survivor, Fear Factor, Dog Eat Do, and CSI. We also watch comedies, The History Channel, TLC, police videos, and home improvement shows every once in awhile.
The kids REALLY enjoy video games also. Though our tastes are varied, we can agree on a game sometimes. Racing, boarding, and the James Bond type games are the games of choice around here.
A digital camera has been added to our personal belonging. We are now using the Nikon 2100 Camera which is a big step up from our older AOL PhotoCam. We are still not sure what we are going to display most times. More time in a day would be most useful sometimes. The webcam is also active often (mostly at work, but sometimes at home now), so check it out to see what we are doing now.
This site is a showcase for Clarence's favorite personal hobby: Auto Racing Fan. CJ's Speed & Thunder is, in my opinion, the most competitive picks contest on the internet.
This site is developed as time permits. Things on the site are tried for personal growth and development. Let us know what you would like to see here, and we'll keep adding all the time.
